Understanding the File Provisioner in Terraform
Imagine you have just successfully provisioned a brand-new virtual machine using Terraform. The CPU is allocated, the RAM is set, and the network interface is active. On paper, your infrastructure is perfect. However, there is a missing piece: the machine is an empty shell. It doesn't have your application code, your custom configuration files, or your security certificates. You have built the house, but you haven't moved any furniture in yet.
